I came across your guestbook and blog in my search to find some
information on my maternal grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth Virginia
Javens and she was born on 1/1/1937 in Beaver Falls, PA. She passed away
on 10/20/2007 in Maryland. To my knowledge her parents relinquished her
custody to the state and she was in foster care for a time. She married
William Taylor Hyatt in Prince George's County, Maryland on 4/12/1958.
They had 3 children (the eldest of which was a stillborn) in the 60's.
They divorced somewhere between 1982 and 1985, but I think she kept the
name Hyatt. Unfortunately that is where the trail runs dry for me. My
mother did not know her maternal grandparents due to the circumstances
of my grandmother's childhood. Do you possibly have any information on
her?
