Fredia Javins, 1932-2011

Frances Goodwin sent us this funeral notice from 4/2011:

Fredia Javins Stalder Christian, 78, of Millfield, passed from this life April 11, 2011 at her home after losing her battle with a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, James Robert Christian; two daughters, Sandra Frazier and Barbara Collins both of Amesville; three grandchildren- Charlotte John of Marietta, Lester Snodgrass, Jr. of Dayton and Elizabeth McPherson of Amesville; six great grandchildren- Joshua (Alisha) Tyler of Newport, Jason Tyler of Waterford, Kelly (Kyle) Griffins of Coolville, and Michael McPherson, Cheyanne McPherson & Christopher McPherson all of Stewart; five great, great grandchildren- Abigail Snodgrass (age 11), Zachary Snodgrass (age 9), Hayden Wood (age 6), Kalyn Tyler (age 5) and Payton Tyler (age 2); a brother, Carl Javins of Kansas City, Kansas; sisters in law and brothers in law- Gary Christian of Columbus, Jackie (George) Devault of Columbus, Joyce (Craig) White of Nelsonville, Tim (Marilyn) Christian, Janice Ruch of McComb and Lisa Christian of Chauncey.
Fredia was born April 24, 1932 in Ashford, WV, the daughter of the late Ira Javins and Norma Samson Javins. She lived in Ashford, WV until 1984.
Besides her parents, several brothers and sisters preceded her on her journey including: Edith Javins of Charleston, WV, Crinthia Loftis of Hershaw, WV, James Javins of Ashford, WV, Dillford Javins of Ashford, WV, Roscoe Javins of Ashford, WV, Genevieve Smith of Ashford, WV, Clifford Javins of Montgomery, WV, Chester Javins of Ashford, WV, Everett Javins of Ashford, WV, and Alford Javins of Racine, WV; also a brother in law, Roger Christian of Chauncey...
She will be laid to rest at The Plains Cemetery, Johnson Rd., The Plains, Ohio.
